Where are you based? I live in a small town called Clare in the heart of Suffolk near Sudbury. I can see clients in person or online.
What do you love about The Thrive Programme? I love the fact that it can totally transform lives. It's not just about overcoming a specific symptom but giving you the skills to take control of your own mental wellbeing and start loving life. I also like the fact that it's really empowering and educational. The skills you learn from doing the Thrive Programme are there with you for life.
What did you do before you became a Coach? Prior to training as a Thrive Programme Coach, I was a paediatric oncology nurse, caring for children with cancer.
I went through the programme myself when I was struggling going through IVF treatment. It really did help me to cope with the treatment far better without the high levels of anxiety and helped me take back control of my life.
It also gave me the confidence and self belief that I could run my own business which until that point I had never believed it was something I would do. I had also studied psychology at postgraduate level and recognised a lot of the research that the Thrive Programme is based on and loved how it was all evidence based.
What do you do when you're not working? When I'm not working, I love spending time doing fun adventures with my husband and eight year old daughter. I enjoy doing triathlons and I'm a member of a local triathlon club. I also love open water swimming in a local lake. Although I still swim in a pool, I now much prefer swimming in nature and also enjoy cold water swimming.
I am also a member of a local speakers club. This is something I started doing after completing the Thrive Programme as a way to challenge myself. I really enjoy it and have been a member for over 7 years now.
An interesting fact? I am a published author having written chapters in a few different books one on Thriving through infertility and the other on Thriving through the adoption process.
What languages do you speak? English.
Do you work online or face-to-face? I am happy to see clients either face-to face or online.
What time-zone are you in? UK time
What hours do you work? Available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 10-3. Weekends and evening are also available on request
Anything else? I have been a Thrive Programme coach since 2016 and now love mentoring new Thrive Programme Coaches as well.
If you are struggling with anxiety, health anxieties fears or phobias, including emetophobia, I can help. Also individuals who are just feeling a bit 'stuck' and wanting to make positive changes to their lives like a new career or set up a business but not don't have the confidence or self belief to make it happen.
Also if you are going through infertility treatment or the adoption process, I would love to hear from you. The Thrive Programme really helped me gain an amazing set of tools to cope with these difficult times.
