Where are you based? In a small village in Gloucestershire, UK.
What do you love about The Thrive Programme? What I love most about the Thrive Programme is its simplicity and scientific backing. It's not about using overwhelming jargon; it's genuinely about helping people get real results. My daughter went through the programme after struggling for many years to find something that worked for her. She had tried many therapies but none of them seemed to really understand emetophobia. Thrive does, and it was such a relief to find people who really got it.
I also have my own experience of Thrive - I no longer have any fear of flying after using the programme, realising I can control how I feel and react on board. This made such a difference to me as I love to travel, and want to enjoy every part of it. But Thrive also helps me everyday with how I live life fully and happily.
Thrive truly is for everyone, and most importantly, it works and works quickly to handle whatever you find challenging.
What did you do before you became a Coach? Before becoming a Thrive Programme Coach® I worked in Human Resources in a large organisation, and part of my role was coaching people at work. I have a lot of experience in problem-solving, supporting people through various personal and work-related challenges. I used this experience and my coaching qualification to help people move past their challenges and its great that I can now coach people through the Thrive Programme.
What do you do when you're not working? I enjoy renovating houses with my husband. We have renovated 4 now, 2 in this country and 2 abroad. Although it can be physically demanding, it is true that the sense of achievement you get on completion really makes you want to start another project! Alongside this I have a passion for interior design and taking inspiration from others who are also passionate about this.
I am currently learning French - very slowly, and enjoy practising yoga regularly. I go for daily walks with my very energetic dog - who gives me such pleasure. I enjoy getting outside and exploring the countryside. I love to travel, especially to new places, to try new food and meet new people. I am PADI qualified so diving means I can really explore. I'm quite good at making my own bread, and I enjoy trying new creative crafts.
An interesting fact? I was born and spent my childhood in the USA and I have dual nationality. I don't have an american accent anymore, although whenever I return to the States it comes back. I was part of an archeological survey team prior to a bypass being built, searching for artifacts and plotting any earthworks - very interesting!
What time zone are you in? GMT (BST in Summer)
What languages do you speak? English (I'll get there with the French!)
What are your working hours? Monday - Thursday 10.00 - 7.00 with some flexibility. Online only - hoping this works so we can connect anywhere you are in the world.
Anything else? I offer a free 1 hour session so I can get to know you and understand what you're looking to achieve - I’d love to hear from you, so please don’t hesitate to contact me.
