About Rob Kelly
‘Rob, you have just changed my life’
Delegate at Blue Cow Summit, February 2015
Rob Kelly is insightful, slightly irreverent and interested in just one thing: teaching you how to THRIVE.
Rob worked in private practice as a psychotherapist and hypnotherapist for over twenty-five years and now runs Thrive Programme events and workshops all over the world. After 20 years in clinical practice, Rob consolidated research and practical experience to write ‘The Thrive Programme’, now a series of six books. He has trained nearly 100 Thrive Programme Consultants worldwide who are all licensed to take people through the Thrive Programme, either in person or over Skype.
The ‘Rob Kelly Method’ smoking cessation course is used by therapists all over the world and has a 93% success rate. 2014 saw the publication of ‘Cure your Emetophobia and Thrive’, arguably the most successful intervention for emetophobia (a pathological fear of vomiting). Rob is an authority on the subject and he leads seminars worldwide for sufferers.
Born in Cornwall and brought up in East Anglia, Rob had a challenging childhood. He nearly died on two occasions before the age of 25, and twice had life-saving brain surgery to alleviate damage caused by a neurological condition called Syringo Myelia. He is an international competition-level pilot and a keen musician. He has two grown-up children and lives near Cambridge, UK.
Rob Kelly is available to speak at your event, including schools, workplaces or conferences, or to lead intensive one-day Thrive Programme workshops.
