Hi, my name is...
Jodi Stones

Meet Jodi...

Where are you based? I am currently based in the seaside village of Castlerock, Coleraine Northern Ireland. Although I'm based in a beautiful location, I have experience of living in Hong-Kong, Germany, England and Wales. I welcome clients from anywhere in the world through Zoom. So, no matter where you are we, can work remotely and get you thriving!

What do you love about The Thrive Programme? I absolutely LOVE the Thrive programme because it is a simple and effective programme that anyone can do. No matter what your age, issues, circumstances in life, if you put the effort in you can change your life very quickly. It's evidence based and so easy to understand and actually works! Trust me I've been there done that and got the thrive T-shirt, it really is life changing.

I also love the fact it is not therapy, it teaches people a new skill set to continue to use and just flourish and make the most out of your life. Also if you are able to get yourself thriving imagine how much you are influencing our next generation. As I say your here for a good time, not a long time so why waste it! This programme sets anyone up to be the most powerful YOU and build a healthy mindset and Thrive in all areas of your life.

What did you do before you became a Coach? I left school and qualified as a Nursery Nurse and worked with children in Nurseries, Schools and most recently at home as a childminder. Since having my son premature I've also volunteered at my local premature baby charity. Where I offered families support on a one to one basis and also helped run the support groups where we had a chat, cuppa and lots of cake! (Tea and cake is another one of my favs and makes everyone smile) I went through the Thrive programme to overcome my PTSD and anxiety after having a traumatic birth with my son.

Also seeing my niece complete the programme for her eating disorder caused by severe anxiety and seeing how life changing its been I knew straight away I would love to help others learn to thrive and live life to the full and not just exist. I'm also seeing through my son how much setting a solid healthy foundation of strong mental health from a young age can set our children up with the skill set they need for life.

What do you do when you're not working? Well anything that involves getting out and living life to the full! I love going to music concerts, Yes I'm now usually the one at the front dancing like no one is watching living my best life! I also enjoy anything adventurous or that is going to push me out of my comfort zone. From holidays to Orlando and conquering all them rollercoasters, to skydiving, ziplining, inflatable water parks, Go karting! The list is now endless I'm thriving. Although I think my husband and son have more fun watching me scream than anything but we have definitely made memories we will never forget. I also love encouraging my friends on my wacky adventures too. I've had them hiking mountains, going on fitness and well being retreats abroad where we do numerous workouts, bike rides, mountain treks and maybe get an hour relaxing on the sun lounger if their lucky.

What also started as a charity Santa sea dip one Christmas eve has turned into another passion. I'm very lucky to live close to the beach however even in the summer the good old Irish sea is not warm and in the winter well wow, its Baltic! But I love getting up early every morning doing some exercise and then either going for a sea dip or if its still too dark I get in my ice barrel in my garden. It takes a strong mindset to get motivated and control your thoughts and emotions when its dark and 'Barry the barrel' is frozen but I absolutely love it and learning to thrive has helped me massively. I'm constantly looking for new challenges and just love my new found zest for life, its way more fun! When I'm not being crazy I also enjoy relaxing beach walks with my dog, watching movies (well my son would say I snooze but I'd call it watching them with my eyes closed) and chilling at home with my lovely family.

An interesting fact? I was born with a very rare condition which doctors said is 1 in a million! I only found this out when I went into labour with my son and I nearly lost my life. Thankfully doctors saved me and my son after a tough battle but it showed me life can throw you some curve balls but how you cope and react to them is all that matters! Its Your life. Better.

Anything else? I am super excited to help other people live their best lives too and feel as parents if we can teach our children this skill set what an amazing start they will have.

What languages do you speak? English.

What time zone are you in? UK (GMT/BST)

What are your working hours? Monday - Friday. Times to suit everyone.
