Hi, my name is...
Lisa Hinchcliffe

Meet Lisa...

Where are you based? I’m based in Norwich, Norfolk however the great thing about the Thrive programme is that it is just as effectively delivered over zoom as it is in person so please do get in touch wherever you’re based. I’m also more than happy to see clients in person if they prefer.

What do you love about The Thrive Programme?

I love that the Thrive programme and Emetophobia free programme are completely different to anything else out there and they’re actually fun to do. Teaching you how to manage your thoughts and emotions and helping you understand that you are in control of your own life and you can do anything you want to do.

One of the things I love most, is that while you'll address the main issue you came to the course for, you'll also experience so many other incredible benefits along the way. You will feel like a different person. It really does give you the skills and mindset to be able to cope with anything that life throws at you and lets you enjoy the good parts of life so much more!

What did you do before you became a Coach? Before becoming a coach I worked for a nature and conservation charity and before that I worked within victim and witness care for nearly 10 years. I really enjoy working with people and after going through the programme myself it seemed like the perfect job for me.

What could be better than helping others learn to thrive and get the best out of their life!

What do you do when you're not working? When I’m not at work I love spending time with my family and friends. I love travelling and have been to lots of amazing countries. I’m really into wildlife and conservation so will spend lots of time on holidays trekking in jungles to see different animals and birds. We went to Costa Rica recently and I stayed overnight, outside, in the middle of the rainforest…something I wouldn’t have even contemplated doing before I completed the Thrive programme. I used to really struggle with spiders and bugs, not anymore! I actually slept quite well.

I equally love being out in nature in Norfolk and my favourite place to be is out walking with my husband Chris and our dog Nancy. We’ve just got a camper van so we can’t wait to have lots of adventures in that! I really enjoy cooking and learning about nutrition, I love nothing more than a new recipe to try.

I love music and going to gigs, especially all my favourite 90’s bands. I’m also a keen knitter although this is a new skill that I’m still getting to grips with. I run a few days a week and enjoy a good book.

An interesting fact? I was born in Germany as my dad was in the RAF. We travelled around a lot and I’d moved house 9 times by the time I was 17.

What languages do you speak? English.

Where/how do you see clients? Online and in person.

What days and hours are you available to see clients? I'm very flexible with my hours so happy to find a time that suits.

Anything else? I’ve always enjoyed working with people and I would say that I’m very approachable, friendly and easy to talk to. The Thrive Programme totally changed my life and I’m so happy and excited that I get to help clients overcome their emetophobia and anxiety and learn to thrive.
